Amber Lounge Monaco auction benefits Brain and Spine Foundation

Amber Lounge cares

After 10 years organizing top parties in the F1 circuit Amber lounge launched U*NITE, a brand new concept that draws together the Annual Charity Auction, Fashion Show, Gourmet Dining and the Amber Lounge Club into one spectacular night on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Meridian Beach Plaza. With one all-inclusive ticket, guests can enjoy a delicious and exclusively designed menu, sit front row at the fashion show, set to be creatively spearheaded by luxury resort-wear design team Odabash & Macdonald, and dance until dawn alongside a buzzing crowd of celebrities and F1 drivers – with the opportunity to participate in a charity auction. The official charity organization this year will be the Brain & Spine Foundation, a careful choice inspired by driver Michael Schumacher who back in December 2013 suffered a serious head injury while skiing at the French resort of Meribel, and has been in an induced coma where he is currently in critical but stable condition. Sonia Irvine, Founder of Amber Lounge was quoted saying: “When I first heard news of Michael, it absolutely shattered me. My brother, Eddie, had raced alongside Michael at Ferrari, and that’s when we became friends. I knew that the very least I could do was to help people who were in a similar condition to Michael but who do not have the resources to overcome their condition. Michael and his family will always have a close place in my heart and this year’s event will aim to raise as much as we can to support the Brain and Spine Foundation.”

The recent distressing circumstances involving F1 legend Michael Schumacher shattered the racing world. The seven-time F1 World Champion is a long-time friend of Amber Lounge founder, Sonia Irvine, who decided to select the Brain & Spine association as the official charity this year. Valuable works of art, jewelry and one-and-only experience packages, are some of the many Amber Lounge exclusive items that will be put up for auction, with proceeds to benefit those suffering from severe neurological conditions. Amber Lounge is honored to support the Brain & Spine Foundation, a charity of high emotional value to the industry they have served for over a decade.
