An unforgettable weekend where time stood still
Dear friends from America were visiting France in June, so we decided to meet them at the charming and opulently decorated Villa Gallici on 18 Avenue de la Violette, away from the turmoil but still close to the old town of Aix-en-Provence, less than three hours drive from Monte-Carlo.
With lavish interiors, sumptuous fabrics and a poolside under the shade of ancient oak trees, with elegant suites and a Michelin star gastronomic restaurant, Villa Gallici is a Provençal masterpiece.
Its grounds live up to its legend too with their lusciously dense gardens and cypress trees. But I will describe no more, as my photos will speak a thousand words! It is invitation to living life in slow motion enveloped by the magic of Provence. Enjoy the visit!

Today’s Quote
“Provence is a country to which I am always returning, next week, next year, any day now, as soon as I can get on a train.” Elizabeth David
