No Finish Lights – Producing green energy
As an overture to the No Finish Line, the traditional charity solidarity course that each year gathers several hundreds of runners and walkers in the Principality, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (MOM) came up with an innovative initiative, the No Finish Lights!
The royal kick off was given by our enthusiastic Eco-Prince Albert II joined by Thor Hushovd, World Cyclist Champion 2010, and members of the Government and other eco-ambassadors on Friday, November 4 at sunset under a fine rain, all on board stationary bicycles to encourage people of all of ages to be part of this unique initiative.
Participation is free so all are welcome from Saturday, November 5-7, from 17:30 to 20:30, to get on board the 30 bicycles put to their disposal at the entrance of the Museum, managed by Ludik Energie. Participants will be able to buy a t-shirt with the colours of the event and the proceeds will be transferred to the No Finish Line for the benefit of the Association Children & Future.
Brainchild of the MOM and organized with the support of the Prince’s Government and the Prince Albert II Foundation, within the framework of the Mission for Energetic Transition, this original and festive event proposes to pedal to produce green energy that in turn illuminates the emblematic façade of the Museum highlighting its architectural details. The project helps explain the visitors that green energy contributes to protect the blue planet.
No Finish Line – Get me to the Moon!
