Getting in the mood for the Easter holiday celebration
My dear girlfriend Caterina Reviglio Sonnino, who is an experienced wedding and event planner, gave a presentation on the art of the table at the Club of Foreign Residents of Monaco (CREM), in collaboration with the Manufacture de Monaco, who has been creating porcelains since 1973.
Caterina was the perfect hostess welcoming the international guests with a table beautifully decorated for the upcoming Easter holiday celebration and the arrival of Spring. She explained the golden rules of the art of the table, from the choice of tablecloth and napkins (no paper serviettes, please!), glasses, plates and cutlery, to the flower decorations and candles. And not to forget the printed Menu that becomes a wonderful souvenir for the guests as well as a useful tool to remember what you served at a specific event. She did not miss any detail, encouraged to use our creativity, and emphasised the importance of always having the wellbeing of your invited guests in mind. The decorated table that she proposed, using the finest contemporary ceramics and glassware from the Manufacture of Monaco, looked very festive and colourful, with a touch of Spring in the flower centrepiece in shades of orange, yellow and light greens, and the traditional Easter eggs.
CREM members and guests were treated to drinks and delicious sweets, while enjoying the interesting presentation about being a perfect hostess. The ladies left very happy with plenty of ideas on how to prepare for their Easter Sunday celebration, and a gift from the Manufacture de Monaco plus an elegant write-up with the “Ten Golden Rules to Set a Table” prepared by Caterina.
