F1 drivers go from the racetrack to the catwalk for a great cause
Amidst the roar of the racing cars on the legendary race track of the Grand Prix F 1 of Monte-Carlo track, Friday, May 26, signaled the official opening of Amber Lounge 2018 with U*NITE. H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, H.R.H. Princess Alexandra of Hannover, famous celebrities such as Game of Thrones’ Liam Cunningham and Kit Harington, Victoria Silvstedt, and of course the F1 drivers turned male models trotting the runway, were among the 750 generous souls attending the annual Charity Fashion Show, this year celebrating their 15thanniversary.
The event raised an impressive amount benefiting the Sir Jackie Steward’s foundation Race Against Dementia which mission is to fund breakthrough and innovative dementia research launched by the famous former F1 driver. The early evening into the night fashion, music and motorsport, welcomed Grammy-nominated singer songwriter Justin Jesso, who’s latest hit ‘Stargazing’ with music producer Kygo has already had over 550 million streams on radio and gone multi-platinum around the world; and Bakermat, a Dutch DJ and music producer.
A special collection presentation by headlining designer Alessandra Vicedomini along with Crisoni-clad F1 drivers on the runway was everyone’s favorite, keeping the VIP attendees enchanted until dusk.
