Fight Aids Monaco (FAM) celebrated their 15^thanniversary this past Saturday, July 13, 2019, at their annual summer fundraising party at the Salle des Etoiles, that called for a beachwear dress code, with famous tunes by the mythical Beach Boys, featuring Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. Prince Albert II and Princess Stephanie presided, joined by the Princess’ children Camille Gotlieb, Louis Ducruet and his future wife Marie Chevallier, with their imminent marriage happening in just a few days on July 27. The fancy long dresses and tuxedos gave way to colorful Hawaiian shirts, pareos, and flip-flops for this casual fun evening.

With more than 800 colorfully dressed guests in attendance and animated by well-known radio and TV presenter Marc Toesca, the association raised  €27,445, through a raffle of attractive lots, offered by generous donors. FAM is thankful to their sponsors: Kamil’Art Gallery, Parfums Alexandre J., La Vallée, Fondation Boustany, Escada, Anny Rey/DL Group, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Clinique la Prairie, Joaillerie Fissore, M. Yves Piaget and Cartier, and all the participants.

The funds collected will enable the 130 affiliated members to benefit from cultural, ludic and sportive trips all along the year, a needed breath of fresh air in their daily lives that provides wellness and comfort, as well as receiving psychological assistance. The funds also help run the Maison de Vie in Carpentras created in 2010, offering those in need a pause of a couple of weeks, the time to recover and gain forces in an ambiance of goodwill and friendliness, while helping them reintegrate into society.

Fight Aids Monaco, a non-governmental organization (NGO), that labors to eradicate AIDS, was founded in 2004 by Princess Stephanie. Princess Stephanie is not only the President and Founder of Fight Aids Monaco since 2004 but also UNAIDS Good Will Ambassador since 2006.
