Felipe Massa unveiled Venturi E-race car made of building bricks in Monaco

BrickLive back in town this Christmas

This morning Felipe Massa was the guest of honor at the Press Conference at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco (GFM) for the presentation of the 2nd edition of BrickLive Monaco, in the presence of Sylvie Biancheri, General Director of the GFM, David Ciclitira, Chairman of Live Company Group Plc and Gildo Pastor, CEO and owner of Venturi.

The famous F1 pilot now turned E-race car driver, unveiled a clone of the Venturi Racing E-car built with 328,073 Lego blocks, and weighing 1.012,8 Kg. It took 14 builders around 865 hours to complete. The Brazilian driver is a true legend having competed for 15 seasons in Formula One with 11 victories and 41 podiums, and now he is getting experience in Formula E with more wins in mind. But he will not be driving the Lego-built version on the racetrack!

After a first successful event, BrickLive will be back at the Grimaldi Forum from December 21, 2019 through January 5, 2020.  The interactive show is organized by David Ciclitira, chairman of Live Company Group Plc in partnership with Grimaldi Forum to bring the show to the Principality, and the support of Fairmont Monte-Carlo, J.B. Pastor & Fils, Mercure International, SMEG, ROKitT Venturi and CMB. (Photo: Felipe Massa, Sylvie Biancheri, Gildo Pastor, David Ciclitira and sponsors @CLV)

BrickLive is the ultimate interactive adventure for building blocks fans to experience as an exhilarating brick-building experience for the whole family, at the time of the Christmas holiday celebration. The concept remains unchanged: thematic workshops where children and parents can work on building games in universes they are familiar with, distributed in the huge Espace Ravel, around a exceptional exhibition of buildings and animals on this year’s theme of the oceans. Many entertainment events such as car races, dance competitions, makeup sessions and other surprises will be the delight of children and their parents.

In case you were wondering, building blocks’ companies are busy researching for new eco-friendly materials, as they are committed to get rid of plastic in the near future.
