Mission accomplished for 24th edition of No Finish Line Monaco

Culmination of NFL on Monegasque National Day

On Sunday, November 19 at 16:00. and after 183 hours of racing, the 24th edition of the NFL culminated in the presence of representatives of the Government and the National Council, in time for the Monegasque National Day celebration.

This solidarity race mobilizes thousands of people in 8 days, on the 1086 m Fontvieille circuit. The main objective driving the sporting endurance of the participants was to collect the most euros thanks to the kilometers traveled, to finance projects intended to help improve ill or disadvantaged children.

The weather, that was mild throughout the race, affected the safety of the circuit at the start of the week due to violent gusts of wind, forcing the closing of the circuit for 11 consecutive hours (Tuesday November 14, 19:30 till Wednesday, November 15, at 7:00).

Mission accomplished for the 24th NFL!

The objective of 300,000 km was surpassed Sunday morning at 10:50. and the number of participants increased.

● 10,428 participants in 8 days (10,000 in 2022) and 11,500 registered

● 315,561 km traveled (+ 63,791 km /2022)

● 315,561 euros will be donated to finance around twenty projects in favor of ill or disadvantaged children (1km = 1 euro). More than 4.8 million euros have already been donated since the creation of the NFL.

→ Individually: The Prince’s Cup was awarded to Daniele Juan Alimonti with 927 km (already 1st in 2019 and 2022)

The 2nd Cédric Chaudet with 900 km.

The 3rd Franck Derrien with 801 km.

The first woman and 5th in the general classification, Mimi Chevillon with 767 km (12th participation in the NFL; 7th victory on the Monaco circuit)

The 2nd, Paola Coccato with 528 km.

The 3rd, Annick Fouchard-Djebli with 593 km.

These 6 loyal competitors since numerous editions of the NFL, record holders on several occasions, are essential runners on the circuit, combining their sporting endurance with their generous enthusiasm and their permanent sympathy.

→ The first winning team is Run for Céline with 11,919 km. The 2nd Barclays Monaco and Fight Aids with 10,730 km and the 3rd Special Olympics Monaco with 10,560 km.

→ During the No Finish Line, an official event reserved for experienced runners, the 24-hour non-stop, included in the calendar of off-stadium races of the French Athletics Federation took place from Saturday 19/11 9:00 a.m. to Sunday 20 /11 9:00 a.m.136 runners were registered (individuals and 6 teams of 6 runners in relay).

In 24 hours, they covered more than 11,760 km.

● Individually: 1st man Claudio Della Morte with 191 km; the 2nd Benjamin Dekeyser with 185 km and the 3rd tied, Alain Brillat and Christian Fatton with 178 km.

The 1st woman Pauline Marguet with 200 km (and 4th in the general classification of the 24 hours); 2nd Carole Bianco with 177 km; the 3rd Marlène Charlon with 165 km.

● For the relay teams, the winner is the Haviland Relay with 282 km; the 2nd MT Runners Relay with 270 km and the 3rd GPSI Relay with 259 km.
