Honoring Prince Rainier III

This past Friday, December 8. 2023, was the 18th edition of the now legendary Christmas Ball honored the Centenary of the birth of Prince Rainier III, in the magnificent Salle Empire of the Hôtel de Paris Monte Carlo. Princess Charlene joined the celebrations to the delight of the privileged guests.

The traditional and glamorous Christmas Ball counts with the renewed High Patronage of Princess Charlene. A total of 153 000 euros were raised through an auction by Sotheby’s. The funds benefit the Princess’ Foundation, whose main goal is to save lives by preventing drowning, and promoting sport’s values in children.

Diplomats, Actors and celebrities

Among the distinguished guests who joined Sandrine Knoell, the event’s founder, were the Ambassador of Italy Julio Alaimo, Gareth Wittstock and his wife, the well known actors Nicky Marbot and Timi-Joy Marbot, the Italian actress and presenter Alessandra Monti. Formula-E driver Maximilian Günther, and actresses Shania Geiss and Davina Geiss.

The women from the brilliant “International Action Committee” who came to support the event this year were: Donatella Campioni, Inna Maier, Carolina Alabiso, and Elena Lukovnikova, all residents of Monaco.

Fashion show by Sabina Bilenko

The London-based fashion designer Sabina Bilenko curated a stunning fashion show for the event, showcasing her innovative designs and capturing the essence of contemporary style with elegance and flair: “A cosmology of couture”, where each meticulously crafted outfit represented a different culture.
